CRC Specialty names Levy national ExecPro leader
China Resources Group appointment Florence Levy Serves as a national ExecPro leader. She will lead the continued growth and development of CRC Specialty’s ExecPro business. She will work closely with brokers, carrier partners and company leadership.
Levy has more than 20 years of experience helping organizations address complex cyber, technology and professional liability risks. She joined CRC in 2023 through the acquisition of INSUREtrust and served as Executive Vice President. Levy previously held senior leadership roles at a number of global brokerage firms.
GEICO appoints David Chief Financial Officer
government employees insurance company Announce David Foy has been appointed chief financial officer, effective June 29. Based at GEICO’s headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, Foy will report to GEICO Chief Executive Officer Nancy Pierce and oversee all financial and real estate functions.
Foy will help develop GEICO’s financial strategy and oversee planning and capital management. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. In recent years, he has advised on investment and trading strategies for the insurance industry, including many years as an independent consultant to the insurance industry. He served as Chief Financial Officer of White Mountains Insurance Group for 14 years, leading the global finance function and executing major transactions and acquisitions. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Hartford Life.
Geller to lead AXIS’s wholesale finance business
AXIS Capital Holdings Ltd.headquartered in Pembroke, Bermuda, promoted Christina Geller Head of Wholesale Finance, North America.
Previously, Geller served as head of wholesale financial institutions. She held senior underwriting and leadership roles at AXIS from 2005 to 2012, a total of 18 years, before returning to the company from 2013 to the present.
Reporting to John Van Decker, Global Head of Financial Services, Ms. Geller will develop and execute the long-term profitable growth strategy for AXIS’s North American wholesale commercial and financial institutions portfolio.
