Marsh names Silberberg head of Marsh Risk U.S. and Canada energy and power infrastructure
swamp appointment Joanne Silberberg Marsh Risk’s newly created leadership role in energy and power infrastructure in the United States and Canada. Silberberg will work closely with Marsh’s energy and power, construction and specialty teams in the U.S. and Canada to deliver industry-informed, integrated solutions to energy infrastructure clients.
Silberberg has more than 20 years’ experience with Marsh’s Energy & Power business in Australia and Canada, where she held roles of increasing responsibility. She most recently served as Canada’s energy and power leader and will relocate to New York from Calgary, Alta., in her new role.
NFP hires Pender to join construction and infrastructure team, North America

Pender will advise owners and contractors on complex construction risks, leading the structuring and arranging of project-specific insurance programs throughout the life cycle of a construction project. Based in Somerville, New Jersey, Pender will report to Andrew Canning, NFP’s head of project risk consulting.
Pender has more than two decades of experience managing project-specific and enterprise risk programs for construction clients in the New York tri-state area and other states. He most recently worked at CAC Specialty, part of the CAC Group, where he served as construction and development practice leader. He also served as New York and New Jersey commercial business manager for USI Insurance Services and director of operations and client advocacy for WTW’s New York Construction.
