Aon promotes Navas to chief claims officer EMEA
insurance broker Aon Corporation Appointed Jose María Navas Serves as Chief Claims Officer, Europe, Middle East and Africa, effective immediately.

In this role, Navas leads the firm’s claims organization in the EMEA region, overseeing strategy, advocacy and claims readiness capabilities to support clients in an increasingly complex claims environment. he Luca TasarottiHead of Commercial Risk, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Navas brings nearly 25 years of experience at Aon, most recently leading claims in Spain, and has deep expertise in claims consulting, including advocacy, preparation and operations. During his tenure in Spain, Navas was instrumental in enhancing claims servicing capabilities to support clients through complex and large-scale losses, while strengthening insurer relationships and operational delivery.
As part of his role, Navas will help further develop Aon’s claims capabilities in EMEA, including adopting Aon claims co-pilotthe company’s recently expanded global claims platform. The platform combines claims data, analytics and digital claims management tools to enable colleagues to deliver more consistent, insight-driven results for clients throughout the claims lifecycle.
“José María’s appointment reflects our continued investment in delivering strong claims outcomes for clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” Tasarotti said. “His experience and leadership will drive the way we support clients throughout the risk transfer lifecycle, helping them navigate complexity with greater confidence.”

Canopius appoints Hiscox’s Parry as group chief claims officer
Canopis GroupLondon-based specialist and property/casualty re/insurer announces appointments Steve Parry As Group Chief Claims Officer, he further strengthens his executive leadership as the Group continues to expand its international platform.

Parry will join the Canopius Groups leadership team and provide Neil RobertsonCEO of Canopius Group. Parry will join Canopius in August from Hiscox, where he was group claims director.
He also held senior claims leadership positions at AIG and ACE/Chubb. He has extensive global experience, including a proven track record of leading complex, multi-regional claims operations and transformational governance and operating model change.
